zerogame 0.52

Image Introuvable

Le changelog :
Zerogame ChangeLog
------------------

v0.52 (final)
- Removed SegaCD ISO creation script due to cdr application not being able to
rip properly from PS3 Blu-ray drive (and removed cdr application)
- Updated all HD backgrounds to remove 'Exit to PS3' text for PS button and to
fix some irregular font usage and correct some console naming
- Changed operation of 'Switch C64 Scaling Option' script to not use separate
scaler scripts, but instead set a 'flag' for the scaler script to use
- Added ability for scaler script to determine how many controllers are active
before launching Genesis/SegaCD games and use a (1/2/3/4)-controller config
(and removed script for setting the default # of controllers)
- Corrected some console naming conventions in Wah!Cade console list (e.g.
changed "NEC Turbo-Grafx 16" to read as "NEC TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine")
- Changed "Tools" option in console menu to "Tools and Extras" and changed
Tools HD background headers to reflect more than just tools
- Readme updates
- Updated installer script to reword a few things and to take into account an
expected MAME change ("sdl" being removed from v0.139+repo package names)
- Fixed scaler script calculation bug that may have kept some arcade games
from scaling to their optimal factor (i.e. some that could be scaled to
1.5x or 2.5x were only scaling to 1x (unscaled) and 2x)
- Updated scaler script and MAME .cfg files for all FROGGER, GALAXIANS, MOON
CRESTA, MOON WAR and SUPER COBRA clones (didn't have time to search for
other titles using the same hardware w/ funky native resolution, and future
MAME versions will have a few renamed romsets, so needed to handle both new
and old names)
- Added function to scaler script to pass any arcade game w/ a reported
resolution higher than the display to launch unscaled rather than fail to
launch at all. Most such games need a specific exception added to the
scaler script and altered Video Options in the MAME config screen to launch
w/ the correct scaling & aspect ratio. Feel free to report others you find.

v0.52b4
- Added Mattel Intellivision support
- Fixed up some Commodore 64 issues (increased audio buffer size, added 2nd
controller to config, layout files and misc.)
- Added 'hotkeys' to snes9x-gtk controller configs (can now save and load to
and from game save slot 0 using L3/R3 respectively, as well as use F3 on
keyboard to Reset emulator, etc.)
- Modified Wah!Cade music playback to quit rather than pause when launching an
emulator (pausing was keeping some system resources busy)
- Fixed scaler script issues (some fscaler command lines were using invalid
arguments)
- Added .cfg files for some arcade titles (e.g. darius2d, darius2do) to
display correctly
- Readme updates
- Changed default HD Wah!Cade menu fonts to 'Tall Films Expanded' bold w/
option to toggle back to 'Return of Ganon' (narrow pixelized font)
- Re-organized Tools menu options to help grouping when alphabetized
- Added the following Tools scripts:
- Switch C64 Scaling Option (whether to always display full overscan area
of C64 display or just fit standard 320x200 display to screen)
- Switch XMAME Option (whether or not to use XMAME instead of SDLMAME for
certain arcade titles)
- Launch minitube YouTube viewer (and install if not already installed)
- Switch Menu Font (between old pixelized Return of Ganon font or new Tall
Films Expanded Bold font)
- Set Number of Players script for Genesis/SegaCD (see full Readme)
- Check Console BIOS script, which will see if BIOS files exist in the
right locations and, if the BIOS files are sitting in /home/zerogame/,
will ask if you want to copy them from there to right locations.
- Added cdr application to installer for SegaCD-to-ISO script to use and
updated script (untested)
- Added SDL updates and p7zip (so users can manage .7z files) to default yum
install list in installer
- Fixed more possible permissions issues in installer script
- Disabled PS button behavior to reboot to PS3 Game OS due to complaints
about accidentally hitting it...must use Wah!Cade menu to Shutdown/Reboot
or Tools menu to 'Reboot to PS3 Game OS'

v0.52b3
- Added Commodore 64 support
- Updated fscaler command lines in scaler script due to new fscaler version
- Tested w/ new PS3Bodega updates
- Readme updates
- Fixed display size calculation bug in scaler script for certain resolutions
- Fixed issue of being unable to use NetBIOS computer names for LAN shares
- Moved installation files in archive to a 'zginstall' folder rather than
just dumping into /root/
- Added battery check script to Tools menu (may only report 1st controller)
- Added xterm launching script to Tools menu
- Added 'Make ISO from SegaCD Disc' script to Tools menu
- Updated some installer commands to properly overwrite previous installs

v0.52b2
- Updated/reformatted Readme and installer script for better legibility
- Added zg-preinstall script to update YDL repos before 'yum update'
- Added FTP server option for accessing zerogame user folder remotely
- Added option to NOT autologin in case users want to use YDL for other things
- Added option to use XMAME for certain games that either run smoother or
at all compared to SDLMAME (though audio may not work)
- Added more game exceptions to scaler script (and .cfg files for MAME) to
help some titles display correctly
- Added .bin/.rom extension support for ZIP'ed Genesis/MegaDrive files
- Added fix for possible bad yum update that installs bad hwclock file
- Fully disabled screensaver and display sleep for fluxbox due to users
having them kick in during play for unknown reason(s)

v0.52b1 (based on SVN Rev593)
- Added LAN sharing setup
- Updated Gizmod device strings file
- Several undocumented updates from v0.51

Zerogame v0.52
By Jason Carter (jay@zerojay.com - http://www.twitter.com/zerojay/)

- What is Zerogame?

Over the last year or so, I've been tweaking and changing my installation of Yellow Dog Linux
(YDL) on my PS3 so that it would be more emulation-friendly. My goal was to get my install as
close as I could to the friendliness of the Xbox emulators, with a game list and a few button
presses and the game of your choice is up on the screen. It's been a long journey, but a
fruitful one.

Zerogame is a bash shell script and necessary files that will take a freshly installed copy
of Yellow Dog Linux 6.2 on your PS3 and, with a few minutes and occasional input from you,
will give you one good emulation box that you can boot up whenever you feel like playing some
classics.

Note: While it should also install over 0.50/0.51 installs, troubleshooting any problems w/
doing so may be difficult (it will overwrite multiple config files, if previously customized,
though). Also, some folder creation and permissions change errors may occur when attempting.

- What do I need?

* A 'pre-slim' model PlayStation 3 running v3.15 or lower firmware
* Yellow Dog Linux 6.2 freshly installed on your PS3 (it is NOT tested w/ 6.1)
* A working Internet connection (wired recommended as Wi-Fi may be troublesome for some)
* A HDTV that supports 1080p/1080i or 720p is highly recommended, but 480p/480i and
576p/576i for SDTVs is also supported*
Note 1: Other OS under PS3 firmware v3.10-3.15 may not work on some HDTVs via HDMI in 720p
mode...component cables should still work in this mode, though. 720p also has a little
better performance than 1080p/1080i on HDTVs for more demanding arcade games.
Note 2*: YDL is not designed to work graphically w/ under 720p mode, and while Zerogame
has support for borderless 480i/p and 576i/p, boot screens may not look right, general
positioning of things on screen cannot be guaranteed to look right (esp. w/o any cutoff)
and some features (e.g. Tool scripts) may not work.
* A wired USB keyboard (must stay connected or controllers may quit working)
* One or more Sony SIXAXIS/DUALSHOCK3 controllers

- How do I install Zerogame?

1) Format your PS3 hard drive and allot at least 10GB of hard drive space to Other OS.
Create a backup, format and restore the backup afterwards if you don't want to lose any
PS3 data. You will need an external FAT32-formatted USB drive for your backup, if you
need to do one.
2) Download the Yellow Dog Linux 6.2 ISO image (yellowdog-6.2-ppc-DVD_20090629.iso), burn
it to a DVD and insert it into the PS3. Note: Other YDL install methods are DIY.
3) Install the Yellow Dog Linux bootloader to the PS3 ('Install Other OS' in PS3 System
Settings).
4) Boot Other OS ('Default System' in PS3 System Settings) and install Yellow Dog Linux 6.2
to your PS3 with the default options, choosing a 'root' password of your choice.
You can disable Office & Productivity software set for faster installation of YDL and if
you don't plan to use YDL for other purposes.
5) Boot into Yellow Dog Linux.
There is no need to create a user (it is recommended not to). Firewall can be enabled
or disabled...it makes no difference, except if you choose to install in non-autologin
mode and want to access files via LAN or be able to manage Zerogame files via FTP, in
which case it should be off or have FTP/SAMBA enabled on it.
6) Once post-installation setup is complete and you are at a graphical login screen, swap
to a console login (via Ctrl-Alt-F1), login as 'root' and type in your root password
chosen during YDL install.
7) Run the following command to download the Zerogame install package:
wget http://thezerogameproject.com/releases/ ... .52.tar.gz
8) Decompress the tarball using the following command:
tar zxvf ./zerogame-0.52.tar.gz
9) Make the pre-install and install scripts executable with the following commands:
cd zginstall
chmod 755 ./*.sh
10) Run the pre-install script to fix YDL update issues:
./pre-zginstall.sh
11) Run the following command to update YDL to fix some Bluetooth bugs and auto-reboot:
yum update && reboot
12) Swap to a console login again and run the install script with the following commands:
cd zginstall
./install-zerogame.sh
13) Follow on-screen prompts (read through this Readme for special info you may need).
14) Reboot before use.

- How do I use Zerogame?

After the installation is completed, you'll need to put your ROMs in the correct places for
Wah!Cade to find them.

At this point, here is where Zerogame expects the ROMs to be:

Arcade (MAME/XMAME): /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/mame/ (incl. any needed BIOS ROMs)
Atari Lynx: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/lynx/
Bandai WonderSwan: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/ws/
Bandai WonderSwan Color: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/wsc/
Commodore 64 (C64): /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/c64/
Mattel Intellivision: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/intv/
NEC TurboGrafx-16: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/tg16/
Neo Geo Pocket: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/ngp/
Neo Geo Pocket Color: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/ngpc/
Nintendo GameBoy: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/gb/
Nintendo GameBoy Advance: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/gba/
Nintendo GameBoy Color: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/gbc/
Nintendo NES: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/nes/
Nintendo FDS: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/fds/
Nintendo SNES: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/snes/
Sega Game Gear: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/gg/
Sega Genesis: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/gen/
Sega Master System: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/sms/
SegaCD: /home/zerogame/gamefiles/roms/segacd/

Each ROM should be in a standard ZIP ('deflate') archive with only one ROM per ZIP (if
multiple files are in a ZIP, usually only the first ROM found will be used), except that
SegaCD needs to be ISO disc images (NOT ISO+MP3s!), preferably created using the CDR rip app
at http://www.xe-emulator.com (the PPC Linux versions do not work in PS3 Linux w/ the Blu-ray
drive); Intellivision ROMs need to be uncompressed '.int' files; and Commodore 64 'ROMs' have
some special requirements (see further below). Due to a Wah!Cade limitation, it can only
index files of a single extension type, so some special workarounds are needed where certain
emulators may need multiple extensions.

You'll have to move or copy your ROMs there manually. Using either the FTP server option or
the Nautilus file manager in the Wah!Cade Tools menu (only FTP available in 480/576 modes)
are probably the easiest methods, followed by using the LAN share option. Copying from a root
or other user login could have permission issues. Make sure that the ROMs are readable by the
zerogame user as well. This shouldn't normally be a problem, but the following command by the
root user after any file manipulations will fix permissions:

chown -R zerogame:zerogame /home/zerogame/gamefiles/

BIOS files (for Atari Lynx, Intellivision, Famicom Disk System or SegaCD) should be at the
following locations:

Atari Lynx: /home/zerogame/.mednafen/lynxboot.img
Mattel Intellivision: /usr/local/share/jzintv/rom/(exec.bin and grom.bin)
Nintendo FDS: /home/zerogame/.mednafen/disksys.rom
SegaCD: /home/zerogame/.xe/bios/megacd-u.rom

Notes: A period at the beginning of a folder/file name indicates a hidden folder/file that
will not show up unless you specify that they should ('ls -a' from a command line; 'Show
Hidden Files' switch under 'View' menu in graphical file browsing). Also, a Tools script
exists to check if the BIOS files exist in the right locations and, if not, can copy them to
the correct locations if they are in the /home/zerogame/ folder.

Previews can also be installed and placed in the following directories:

/home/zerogame/gamefiles/previews/artwork1/[console]
/home/zerogame/gamefiles/previews/artwork2/[console]
/home/zerogame/gamefiles/previews/videos/[console]

In the current theme, artwork1 is shown in the box at the top left and artwork2 is shown in
the box at the middle left. Video previews replace artwork1 in the top box after a few
seconds, if they can be found.

If you set up the LAN option in the installer, the chosen network 'share' is mounted to
/home/zerogame/gamefiles/, so the 'share' should contain a 'roms' folder and any 'previews'
folders, if used, using the aforementioned folder structures. The LAN setup portion of the
installer uses a different menu-driven configuration from the rest of the installer script
that allows you to change multiple settings to your liking before Saving them. When setting
up the LAN option in the installer, do not use any slashes before or after the computer and
share/folder names (e.g. computer = '192.168.1.200' or 'mycpu-pc'; share = 'zgstuff' or
'games/zg/gamefiles', where 'zgstuff' or 'games' is the actual shared folder and
'/zg/gamefiles' are subdirectories of the shared 'games' folder).

The LAN install option enters a line like the following into /etc/rc.local (in case it needs
manual editing post-install):

mount.cifs //192.168.1.200/zgstuff/ /home/zerogame/gamefiles/ -o user=MyLogin,pass=MyPassword,domain=WORKGROUP

Wah!Cade also supports background music (at least MP3, FLAC, OGG and MOD, but maybe others),
though some may not work too well, like high bitrate files) while in Wah!Cade, but not
running a game. Playback of music can also be manually controlled through the Wah!Cade
menu. These files should by placed in the following directory:

/home/zerogame/music/

Special Note: When using USB storage or (if a launch model w/ media bay) Memory Stick(MS)/
CompactFlash(CF)/Secure Digital(SD) storage devices, if you have a model w/ a media bay, YDL
recognizes the MS slot as /dev/sda1, the SD slot as /dev/sdb1, the CF slot as /dev/sdc1, and
the first USB storage device as /dev/sdd1. Otherwise, the first USB storage device will be
/dev/sda1.

Once the games are installed and you're ready to start using Zerogame, unplug everything from
your PS3's USB ports except for your USB keyboard. If the autologin option is used, fluxbox
will startup immediately after YDL boots and then launch Wah!Cade. If the non-autologin
option is chosen, you will get the graphical login screen after booting and typing 'zerogame'
and a blank password should launch fluxbox and then Wah!Cade. Once Wah!Cade is running, you
can turn on your PS3 controllers at any time by pressing the PS button on the controller.
Wah!Cade will immediately index the games for the currently open system (SNES at first
startup, if installed) and then present a list of games for that console for you to select
from. As you scroll from console to console using the L1 and R1 buttons (or use the Wah!Cade
menu to choose), Wah!Cade will index the games in each console's associated ROM directories
and bring up a list. This indexing only happens once, as long as ROMs exist for that console.
Otherwise, it will try to reindex each time that console is selected until there is something
to index. If more ROMs are added later, they need to be manually re-indexed using the
'Generate Game List' option in Wah!Cade's 'Game List Options' menu before the added games will
show up.

(Note: The indexing for MAME (ARCADE) can take a VERY long time, depending on how many ROMs
you have in the roms folder. As it indexes the games, it will appear to have frozen or
crashed, but this is not likely the case. Indexing a full MAME ROM set takes me between 20
and 25 minutes and again, will only happen once, as long as there are ROMs.)

You should then be able to select any game from the list and be able to play it. Zerogame
will attempt to scale the game to fit your screen while maintaining the same aspect ratio. It
most likely won't completely fill up your screen but Zerogame will do its best. The 'X'
button does a simple scaling, but launching games with the 'Square' button will try to use
smoothed scaling to reduce the blockiness, which may look better or worse depending on the
console, game and personal preferences.

To quit back to Wah!Cade from the emulator, press the PS button on the first controller (or
the ESC key on your keyboard).

Due to user feedback, the PS button no longer reboots to PS3 Game OS from Wah!Cade as in
v0.50/v0.51. To return to the PS3 Game OS, use the 'Reboot Back to PS3 Game OS' option in the
Tools menu within Wah!Cade. To do a regular reboot/shutdown, use the 'Exit Wah!Cade' option
and select either 'Exit & Reboot' or 'Exit & Shutdown.' If you 'Exit to Desktop' from the
same window (ESC will do the same) and you are using autologin mode, it will drop to a
console login and relaunch Zerogame after 10 secs. If using the non-autologin mode, it will
drop you to the fluxbox desktop, where you can logoff the zerogame user and return to the
graphical login screen by right-clicking a mouse on the fluxbox desktop, going to 'fluxbox
menu' and choosing 'Exit.' Right-clicking on the fluxbox desktop also has immediate options
to 'Boot to Game OS' or relaunch 'Zerogame,' as well as open a terminal window (xterm).

If your controllers are not responding, sometimes there is a delay after pressing the PS
button before they are recognized, but especially if they've worked before and then suddenly
don't, there may be a Bluetooth issue that requires a total shutdown of the PS3 and then
starting it back up. Sometimes just restarting Wah!Cade will fix the issue (ESC for autologin
and letting it auto relaunch; 'Menu'->'Exit Wah!Cade'->'Exit to Desktop' for non-autologin and
choosing 'Zerogame' in the fluxbox menu).

If using autologin mode and you need to login graphically as root, pressing ESC in Wah!Cade
should drop to a console login. If you quickly (within 10 secs.) login as root and run the
'gdm' command, you should get the graphical login before the zerogame autologin can restart.
If not that quick, you can do the console root login first (Ctrl-Alt-F1 while Wah!Cade is
still running), switch back to Wah!Cade (Ctrl-Alt-F7), hit ESC to exit Wah!Cade which should
drop back to the already logged in root console prompt and just have to run 'gdm' within 10
secs.

If anything totally freezes up, you can try ESC, Ctrl-Z, Ctrl-C to try to exit an emulator or
Wah!Cade, but if those don't work, you can press Ctrl-Alt-F1 to get to a console login, login
as root and reboot...but if the scaler is still running, you won't be able to see anything,
so you'll have to login blind (after Ctrl-Alt-F1, type 'root', then your root password, then
either 'reboot' if you want to reboot or 'killall fscaler' if you just want to kill the
scaler). If you can't do that, you'll need to force the PS3 off by holding the power button.

In the Tools menu within Wah!Cade, there are options to turn on or off Bluetooth, re-pair your
Bluetooth controllers, launch the Nautilus graphical file manager, launch the Firefox web
browser, view the logged info about the last game launched (useful for troubleshooting),
saving/restoring saved game info, reboot to PS3 Game OS, check the PS3 controller battery
level (may only work w/ 1st controller if 2 are used), open a terminal window, convert a
SegaCD disc to an .ISO file (currently untested) and launch a YouTube viewer (minitube).
However, some of these options won't work in 480i/p or 576i/p mode.

Note: This is still a work-in-progress, so there may be options that are disabled, aren't
fully documented, have some inconsistencie or don't currently do anything (e.g. the About...
screen in Wah!Cade).

EMULATOR-SPECIFIC SPECIAL INFO
------------------------------

Arcade (MAME) Notes:
1. Due to architecture differences and PS3 Linux limitations, some ROMs that work fine on
PC MAME may not be able to run on (SDL)MAME in PS3 Linux. This includes games requiring
.CHD (Compressed Hard Drive) files, ROMs that may take up too much RAM, emulations
that (lazily?) rely on a native Intel x86-compatible host CPU, later games that are far
more graphics/audio intensive than older games, etc.
2. ROMs used should be compatible w/ PC MAME v0.13x or higher (SDLMAME installed via this
Zerogame package is at least v0.136)...and if they don't work on PC MAME v0.13x or
higher, they aren't likely to work here. The 'View Output...' Tools script may also
yield info on why a game doesn't work...or displays oddly/etc.
3. Needed system BIOS ROMs for some titles (e.g. Neo Geo) will show up in the Arcade Game
List. Trying to launch them shouldn't do anything, but if you want to remove them from
list, you can use the 'Game List Options' in the Wah!Cade menu to remove references to
any selected files. However, if you ever 'Generate Game List' again to refresh the
list, they will show back up again.
4. Controls can vary between games and some games may not respond at all to any SIXAXIS/
DUALSHOCK3 input. Most 'standard' 2D games should work, though. Any that don't work
would likely need to be manually configured (if possible).
5. Some games may have odd-looking screens due to the layout of the original arcade
hardware. Navigating to 'Video Options' in the MAME menu (TAB key) will usually have
a few to several main display options, as well as rotate/flip/etc. options that can be
tried.

WonderSwan/Lynx Note:
Some titles for these handhelds are rotated 90 degrees. Such titles will require using
the F8 key on a keyboard to toggle the rotation.

Commodore 64 Notes:
1. Commodore 64 'ROMs' are normally expected by Wah!Cade to be ZIP'ed .D64/.X64 disk
images or ZIP'ed .T64 tape images. However, cartridge ROMs (.CRT) and writable disk
images need to be uncompressed files. For indexing purposes, any uncompressed ROM needs
to be named w/ a .zip extension (e.g. 'COOLGAME.D64.zip'...the '.D64' isn't needed for
disk images, but it might help keep track of what is and what isn't actually a ZIP
file). For .CRT ROMs, a '.CRT.zip' extension (and NO other periods in the filename) is
REQUIRED to run.
2. Since this is computer emulation, it may depend on individual games/programs as to how
the controller responds. The default config included seems to work well in most
situations, but may require swapping controller ports...while in the emulator, 'Circle'
will open the menu, use the D-pad to move down to 'Machine settings->' and press 'X',
('Joystick settings->' should already be selected) press 'X' again, then use the D-pad
to move down to 'Swap joystick ports' and press 'X' (you won't see any visual
indication that anything changed), then press 'Circle' 3 times to go back to the
emulator. If something doesn't work w/ either joystick port, it may only work with
keyboard controls or needs to be manually mapped otherwise.
3. If you play around with settings and save them and need to revert back to the defaults
as originally installed, switch to a console login to login as root or use the 'Launch
xterm Terminal Window' option in the Tools menu and run the following command:

cp /home/zerogame/.vice/defaults/* /home/zerogame/.vice/

4. The emulator may sometimes open w/ a sound buffer warning and auto-disables sound.
Exiting and relaunching the selected title often fixes this, but you can also turn
sound back on manually w/ the following: Press 'X' to say OK to the error, then press
'Circle' to open the menu, use the D-pad to move down to 'Sound settings->' and press
'X' and then 'X' again to re-enable sound (an asterisk '*' should show up next to it),
then press 'Circle' 2 times to go back to the emulator.
5. When typing in the emulator, keys are mapped to original C64 keys, so some symbol or
punctuation keys may be different (e.g. Shift-2 is '"' instead of '@').
6. Visit http://www.viceteam.org for more technical info on C64 emulation (though some options
are not available on the PS3 YDL build, like video/audio recording of emulator output).

Mattel Intellivision Notes:
1. Because the original controller uses a keypad, there is no real standard way to map
the SIXAXIS/DUALSHOCK3 controls and may vary by game (e.g. some games may start using
the 'X' or 'Square' buttons, but others may require the R3 button), though once a game
is started, the left analog stick seems to handle movement OK in many instances. More
work will be done on this later and you may find additional info in the Zerogame
Project website forums.
2. To re-iterate the ROM info above, the emulator used (jzintv) does not currently support
compressed ROMs, so they MUST be uncompressed using a .int file extension.

Neo Geo Pocket Note:
Neo Geo Pocket/Neo Geo Pocket Color ROMs may not work if the file inside the ZIP does
not have a .ngp extension.

SNES Notes:
1. L3/R3 buttons will do a quick game save/load (to/from slot 0), similar to MAME.
2. Some keyboard commands are also mapped to MAME standards: F3 to Reset, Ctrl-F3 to Hard
Reset, P to pause (the emulator...'Start' should do the standard SNES pausing).

Sega Genesis/SegaCD Notes:
1. Controllers must be active/connected before launching games in order for them to be
usable, otherwise the emulator will launch w/ only 1 controller enabled.
2. Genesis ROM file ZIPs must contain a file w/ one of the following extensions or the
emulator will open a window asking what console the file is for:
.gen/.md/.smd/.bin/.rom
3. SegaCD titles can be a nuisance to run (still looking into simplfying it), requiring
navigating the BIOS options ('Square' at the BIOS screen) to format the memory before
you can then launch the game ('CD-ROM') from within the BIOS. Also, CD audio does not
work very well and will be jittery or may cut out entirely.

The Zerogame Project, as well as myself personally, owe the following people a huge debt of
gratitude. Without them, PS3 Linux would be nowhere near as fun and useful as it is today.
Only because of their selfless work is a project like Zerogame even remotely possible, so
excuse me while I pimp their projects and websites.

Bien dis !

tu peux me faire un retour là dessus ?
